IT WAS A GOOD DAY, STARTING AT 630 AM WHEN I CLIMBED INTO A FULL BUS OF TOURIST AND HEADED OFF TO A PLACE THAT HAS HAD TOURIST SINCE TIME BEGAN!
MIGHT BE THE MOST VISITED AREA EVER!
EVEN THOUGH WE ARRIVED EARLY THERE WERE ALREADY MANY BUSSES AHEAD OF OURS. THE TOUR GUIDE TALKED MOST OF THE WAY THERE AND GAVE US A PRETTY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT WE WOULD BE DOING.
WE VISITED 3 TOMBS. THE FIRST ONE AS A GROUP AND THE 2ND 2 ON OUR OWN.
I MADE A GREAT FRIEND, JAZ, SHE IS TRAVELLING ALONE TOO.
SO HER AND I VISITED THE OTHER 2 TOGETHER AND THEN WE WERE LATE FOR THE BUS AND COULDNT FIND OUR GROUP.
BY THE TIME WE FOUND OUR BUS, EVERYONE WAS ALREADY IN THERE WAITING FOR US!
YEAH WE WERE THOSE PEOPLE. OOPS!
I HAVE TO SAY THAT SEEING THE TOMBS AND TEMPLES WAS WONDERFUL BUT WHAT MADE THE DAY AND WHAT I WILL REMEMBER ARE THE PEOPLE. THE AMAZINGLY STRONG WOMEN WHO I MET WHO HAVE TRAVELLED FROM FAR AWAY TO SEE THIS SIGHT.
BRAVE STRONG INDEPENDANT WOMEN.
I WAS BLESSED TO HAVE MET THEM AND HEARD SOME OF THEIR STORIES.
EGYPT IS NOT FOR THE WEAK!
