WE GAVE AS MANY GIFTS AS WE HAD TO GIVE ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS DAY. WE ALL DUG INTO OUR PACKS AND CAME OUT WITH HAIR TIES TO HATS AND WHATEVER ELSE WE COULD FIND AND PART WITH. THERE WERE SOME AMAZING CHILDREN. THERE WAS ONE BOY WHO WON MY HEART AND NOT JUST BECAUSE WE SHARED THE SAME EYE COLOR. HE WAS SO SMART AND TRIED SO HARD AND SHOWED SUCH PRIDE. HE KNEW HOW TO SAY AND WRITE HIS ABC'S IN ENGLISH AND WE SAND AND DREW IN THE SAND. ON CHRISTMAS DAY HE RETURNED WITH HIS SISTER AND OTHER CHILDREN TO COLLECT THE CAMEL DUNG FOR FIRE. WHEN WE WERE HANDING OUT GIFTS ROHMANN WAS KIND ENOUGH TO GIVE A HARD COVERED NOTE BOOK AND I ADDED A PEN AND THE BOY AND I WROTE THE ABC'S AND OUR NAMES IN THERE. I HAD OUR GUIDE TRANSLATE TO THE BOY HOW PROUD OF HIM I AM AND HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO KEEP STUDYING.
IT WAS A MOST BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS MORNING.
AS WE ROAD AWAY THE CHILDREN KEPT CALLING 'TATA!" UNTILL WE WERE WELL OUT OF SIGHT.
